Participants were invited to join the E-MBA Guest Speaker series to hear Mr Peter Buytaert present on experiences in Cultural Change Consulting.

The workshop introduced the concept of Cultural Change Consulting and explored steps that organisations can take to identify the need for change and ultimately make desired changes. These steps were exampled via a case study. Through the case study, participants gained insights into common challenges that organisations throughout China and APAC experience in terms of organisational culture and behaviour. E-MBA programme students were likely to be able to relate to some of the challenges within their own organisation. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions of the guest speaker.

Peter Buytaert is CEO at GLO Global and a Managing Partner at Silk Road Partners. He has 35 years of leadership experience, of which 25 years were based in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul and Shanghai. Peter has assisted over 50 SMEs to start businesses in China. Prior roles included European Head for Cornerstone Group, President for Agfa Graphics Asia, and Chairman of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.
