Activity

Talk for senior pupils (aged 16-18) in all Aberdeen schools on the emergence, nature and possible benefits of mindfulness

Description

Online talk recorded for Aberdeen City's Lift Off event. Senior Pupils Online Induction Event - Invite for Provider Engagement 1st June. Their publicity:
We are all working through the challenges of the COVID-19 Pandemic, but there is no doubt that our young people have been impacted severely. Sadly, talk in the media has often been very negative in tone. There is also no doubt that when there is any downturn economically it is the Young Workforce that experiences the greatest impact. These two induction days are an opportunity for us to switch the narrative to a much more positive tone and highlight the opportunities that are out there for our young people. It is a chance for you as a presenter to emphasise the skills that young people have that are needed in society.
