Aberdeen University in call for songs, poems and drawings for north-east lockdown archive

Description

Creative responses to the Covid-19 pandemic such as songs, poems and drawings are wanted for a new north-east lockdown archive.

Aberdeen University want to preserve these initiatives for future generations through the creation of a Lockdown Lore Collection Project.

The university’s Elphinstone Institute want to collect the likes of window rainbows, chalk drawings, music and new digital schemes that have brought people together.

They aim to document and curate the country’s creative responses to the pandemic and is seeking the help of the public to populate its new archive.
