ising4peace is a Scottish-led global initiative to bring the world together in music and was created by University of Aberdeen lecturer Neil Mclennan as a new form of commemoration.

Neil Mclennan, ising4peace founder, said: “The difficulties created by the Covid-19 crisis have shown the importance of coming together in new ways and the important healing power of music.

“Music provides an important outlet for reflecting, remember and uniting as a global community. It is an international language we can all connect to and enjoy.”

She is accompanied by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the single features hundreds of individual singers and choirs from 20 different countries.

    Contributors include the famous baritone Sir Willard White, an 82-year-old services veteran, an NHS doctor and hundreds across the world who have lent their voices to Stronger for the Storm.
