Description

Microclimate data and rain water samples collected during the 2013-2014 and 2016-2017 hydrological years (November to October) at INECOL meteorological station in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. Soil water content measurements, and bulk soil and plant tissue (stem and segments of branches) samples were collected during the 2014 and 2017 dry seasons and 2017 wet season isotope sampling campaigns. Rain, bulk soil and plant samples were analyzed for water stable isotopes. The purpose of the data was to provide baseline information on the hydrometeorology and plant-soil water interactions for a traditional shade coffee plantation in central Veracruz, Mexico
