    Personal profile

    Biography

My research interests span two main areas. Firstly as a business ethicicst I focus both my theorteical and empirical reserach on the business-society intefarce. I am particularly interetsed in disagrreement and confict amning stakehowlders, particulalry in contested markets such as energy, international business - modern day slavery, and corporate culture. My second interest is in the internationalisation field, particularly concerning small business development. I have a number of papers in each field and have successfully supervised several doctoral students in these areas. I am especially interested in developing pedagogy that bridges theory and practice for post-experience students. To that end I am Director the EMBA at the School which is delivered in London and in the near future, Shanghai.  I am currently Director of Accreditation and this concerns the pursuit of the triple crown - AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA - for Aberdeen Business School.
