Dr. Jai Krishna Sahith is a young researcher who graduated with PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University Technology PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. He completed his Master’s in Pipeline Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, India. He worked on a very rare topic “Gas Hydrate Formation in Multiphase Pipelines” for his PhD. He has developed a multiphase hydrate prediction toolbox based on his research which was patented. He also worked on gas hydrate based desalination and holds a patent in it as well for his novel desalination reactor design. At present he is working on gas hydrate based CCUS, hybrid desalination, renewable energy based desalination and hydrogen based hydrates. He has great knowledge in thermodynamics of gas hydrates, multiphase pipelines, Pipeline Networking and Design of Cross-country pipelines. He has achieved good recognition in international level for his research.
