My research interests are in the nutrition and physiological systems controlling food intake and energy balance.

 

 Key interests include:

  • the role of fibre as a nutritional regulator
  • gut microbiome-brain interactions
  • the role of biological rhythms in nutritional responses
  • the neuroendocrine system as the master controller
