The present paper is devoted to the application of the Galerkin method to solve the fracture mechanics problem for linearly elastic, homogeneous and isotropic solid with a plane crack under harmonic loading with allowance for the contact interaction of crack’s adjoining faces. The corresponding systems of linear algebraic equations were obtained. The divergent integrals in event of piecewise-linear shape functions were regularized.
