Abstract

In the title compound, C12H13N3O2, an intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O bond helps to establish the near-planar conformation; the two -NH-CO-N- fragments of the biuret backbone are twisted by 4.96 ( 10)degrees. An acute intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond helps to define the crystal packing.
