Abstract

With the development of cancerology, various new drugs have been developed to treat cancer. However, efficient transport of drugs into the interior of a solid tumour is still very challenging due to the unfavourable tumour microenvironment. In addition, serious side effects associated with chemotherapy have always been a major concern. Liposome-mediated drug delivery may offer a potential solution to these problems.
