Abstract

Bifurcation analysis of a harmonically excited linear oscillator with clearance is presened. After formulating the mathematical model, the problem was investigated using a systematical numerical simulation method in order to give an overview of the system's dynamics. The results were obtained by constructing bifurcation diagrams for autonomous systems.
