Calculations concerning the phases present in natural gas hydrates: technical note

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

The enthalpy change accompanying the phase change of methane from gas to 'cage' enclosure in a clathrate is calculated. It is shown to be close to the heat of vaporisation below the critical temperature.
