Abstract
Three recent deep-sea trawls (4182-4270 m) close to the Crozet Islands have provided five specimens of previously unknown liparid fishes. Four of these represent three new species and are described herein: Careproctus crozetensis, C. discoveryae and Paraliparis wolffi; the fifth specimen belongs to another species but it is badly damaged and could be partially described only.
