Abstract

The two-volume handbook on interdisciplinary discourse research provides a systematic and comprehensive overview of the new field of discourse research. The first volume brings together national and international tendencies, developments and issues of discourse research. The second volume presents important discourse analytical methods using the example of the discourse on neoliberal higher education reforms.

With its focus on theoretical models and strategies of discourse-analytical research practice in the disciplinary and interdisciplinary context, this reference work of the group DiscursNetz is aimed at research-oriented students and all discourse researchers who are interested in the connection between language and society.
