Abstract

This article focusses on the subject 'should women without postmenopausal bleeding and a thickened endometrium by transvaginal ultrasound undergo further endometrial investigation? Two cases and the literature show that in asymptomatic postmenopausal women and thickened endometrium further endometrial investigation can be ommited.
