Abstract
From Burkina Faso, Mamadou Barro (CIPS 2002-2003) presents in French an evaluation of South-South Co-operation in health services. Burkina benefits from help of Lybian, Nigerian and Cuban health personnel. The health structures that
evaluated the collaboration before starting a second phase, mainly request specialised doctors (surgeons and gynaecologists). Those specialists are in the best position to train and supervise local personnel.
