Abstract

Background: Determinates of how physicians assign severity in asthma or COPD are poorly understood. The NOVEL observational longiTudinal studY NOVELTY (NCT02760329) is a global, prospective, 3-year observational study of patients with a physician-assigned diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of asthma, asthma+COPD or COPD. Objective: To identify factors associated with physician-assigned severity of either asthma or COPD in the NOVELTY population.
