The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) identified four dimensions to food security: food availability, economic and physical access to food, food utilization and stability over time [1]. Food manufacturing, processing and reformulation are key elements to ensuring the food supply is safe, can be accessed in a suitable form and is appealing to consumers.
