Global maternal mortality decline and the role of development factors: mini review

Julia Hussein

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

Maternal mortality has declined over the last 20 years. Specific technical interventions are known to work in reducing maternal mortality, but it is likely that improvements in development across all the Millennium Development Goals have played a part. Better understanding of how these intersectoral factors work is needed.
