Abstract
The crystal packing in the title compound, C5H14N22+.2H(2)AsO(4)(-), involves anion-to-anion O-HcO hydrogen bonds, resulting in double chains of dihydrogenarsenate tetra-hedra. The double chains are crosslinked by further O-HcO bonds to result in a three-dimensional framework that accommodates the organic cations in large cavities. The cations inter-act with the framework by way of N-HcO bonds.
