Abstract
The Scottish Executive in 2005 announced the establishment of in-court mediation pilots in Glasgow and Aberdeen Sheriff Courts to run for a period of two years commencing in 2006. The pilots ran from March 2006 to July 2008, having been carried forward by the Scottish Government. The pilots were evaluated by the research team from University of Aberdeen School of Law and DTZ.
