Abstract

The problem of the theory of elasticity for a bimaterial with an interface crack under a harmonic shear wave is solved numerically using the boundary-element method. The faces are considered to be in frictionless or frictional contact. The distribution of displacements of the cracks, the emerging dynamic contact areas of the faces, and contact forces is analyzed.
