Abstract
One of the means whereby a truly plurilingual language policy may be implemented in Europe is Content and Language Integrated Learning, CLIL (Enseignement d’une Matiere par Integration d’une Langue Etrangere EMILE in French). In a range of formats, CLIL is gaining momentum throughout Europe and has demonstrated its potential to provide authenticity of both content and language interaction in the classroom.
