Abstract
Literary studies of the testimony on the Nazi camps and genocide unfolded In several directions: among others, analyses of texts or individual authors. duels – especially those who enjoy a "literary" or "canonized" status – and comparative examination of themes and modes of representation. It seems, however, research questions concerning the very functioning of testimony and its Conditions of emergence have, until now, to a large extent been abandoned to sociology – think of the work of Michael Pollak and Renaud Dulong. In order to open the Literary studies to this problem, we propose to examine the testimony from the concept considered to be the most suitable for the analysis of "corpora" of texts, namely that of "gender".
