Abstract

THE role of a veterinarian is demanding, with more than 80 per cent of practising veterinarians in the UK reporting that they are stressed at work. This, combined with reports of elevated suicidal ideation within the profession, means it is unsurprising that workplace stress and wellbeing are currently a key focus within the veterinary literature.
