Abstract

The modelling of CO2 adsorption isotherms provides key insight into characterising operating conditions for CO2 capture. With non-linear regression, CO2 isotherms
(296K-378K) of the solid adsorbents Zeolite 13X, Norit PK, Norit® and Silica pentaethylenehexamine were modelled with the Freundlich, Langmuir, Redlich-Peterson, Toth, and Sips models. Results indicated the Sips model as optimum for all 4 adsorbents.
