Abstract

This report is an evaluation of the impact of the year-long project ‘Music Hall Babies’(MHB) led by the Creative Learning Team at Aberdeen Performing Arts. MHB ran from December 2017 to December 2018 covering the year leading up to the reopening of Aberdeen’s Music Hall, which had been undergoing a major redevelopment project. One of the key aims of the Music Hall redevelopment project was to attract younger audiences, build audiences for the future and make the venue more accessible and family friendly.The MHB project was offered to all babies born in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire in December 2017 and 50 babies and their parents engaged with the project over the course of the year
