A combination of O-H...O [d(av)(H...O) = 1.73 Angstrom; theta(av)(O-H ...O) = 156 Angstrom; theta(av)(O...O) = 2.609 (3) Angstrom] and N-H...O [d(av)(H...O) = 1.85 Angstrom; theta(av)(N -H ...O) = 169degrees; d(av)(N...O) = 2.740 (2) Angstrom] hydrogen bonds defines a layered structure for the title compound, (C5H12N)[H2AsO4].
