Abstract
When Caravaggio completed his painting of the betrayal and arrest of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane, it became one of the most celebrated masterpieces of its time. But two centuries later, the painting vanished without a trace. The programme tells the enthralling story of the painting and its rediscovery in 1990.
