Abstract

This chapter examines the choices that particular organizations make as they contend against each other. We examine the various goals adversaries set, the strategies they adopt to progress towards them, and how and why such choices are made. Because the choice of objectives and the means to attain them impact each other both are discussed. The focus throughout is on non-violent strategic choices.
