Abstract

We thank Einav et al. for their interest in our Editorial on anaemia in pregnancy.1 They acknowledge the opportunity for anaesthesiologists in this setting but raise concerns over the lack of a definition for anaemia and express caution for the universal treatment of isolated maternal haemoglobin (Hb) values unnecessarily.
