Abstract

The cations and anions of the chiral title compound, C5H14N22+center dot 2Cl(-)center dot 0.42H(2)O, are linked by N-H center dot center dot center dot Cl hydrogen bonds into chains propagating in [100], which contain R-4(2)(14) loops.
