Abstract

Considers: Dhaliwal (Bupinder) v Procurator Fiscal, Dumbarton (SAC) dismissing an appeal against a sheriff's imposition of an interim notification order under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, finding that there was a significant sexual aspect to the offending where the accused had repeatedly approached a lone female in a supermarket and made sexually inappropriate remarks towards her; and Ferguson (Jack) v HM Advocate (HCJ Appeal) on whether there was a "significant sexual aspect" to a non-scheduled offence where the offender was intoxicated.
