Simultaneous propagation of N dark solitons in optical fibers with higher order linear and nonlinear effects

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

We consider the simultaneous propagation of N fields in the normal dispersion regime of an optical fibre with higher order dispersion, stimulated Raman scattering and Kerr dispersion. The linear eigenvalue problem associated with the integrable form of the system equation is presented. Using the Hirota bilinear method, exact dark soliton solutions are explicitly derived.
