Abstract

We thank Haahr et al., Nelson and Anderson, Mendoza-Tesarik and Tesarik, La Marca et al., and Sunkara and Polyzos for their interest in the OPTIMIST studies. As their letters to the editor raise related issues, we have chosen to formulate our response in a single letter and to cluster the replies per topic.
