The publication of research findings is a crucial part of health research. It is the very foundation of evidence-based medicine. The peer-review process is crucial to ensure the quality of published scientific works. Guidelines such as CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE, and those from the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) strengthen the quality of medical research and reporting further [1], [2], [3] and [4].
But we need another guideline. Yes, we do.
