Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The article explores and busts a few myths about Boguslaw Radziwill, who is considered a treacherous figure in the history of the Swedish-Polish wars, because he cooperated with Sweden against his own (Polish) king. He later became governor of Ducal Prussia and remained an outsider in the Polish Diet. The article traces some of the politics and the historical judgments of this figure and tries to change the approach to such figures who live along and often cross religious, political and cultural borders in the span of their lifetime and careers.
