    Research Interests:

    My research interests are focused the following:

    CO2 capture and utilisation:

    • Synthesis/development of advanced and tailored materials such as MOFs, organic polymers, carbon-based & biomass-based adsorbents, amine impregnated silicon-based adsorbents, polymeric/hybrid membranes, etc.
    • Materials characterization.
    • Design and construction of lab-scale experimental set-ups for dynamic CO2 capture measurements.
    • Novel and energetically more efficient technologies for CO2 capture and energy storage: experimental studies using the unique purpose-built integrated bench-scale rotary/fixed adsorption column.

    Waste valorisation:

    • Biomass-based waste: transformation of lignocellulosic residues into value-added materials.
    • Recycling of polymeric waste
    • Pre-treatment technologies of feedstocks to improve their digestibility towards anaerobic digestion.

    Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
