Research Overview:

Over 10 years’ experience of building databases and Research Applications and of cleaning and manipulating large data sets to produce quality data sets for research. Supplying a wide range of services to the University’s Administrative Teams and supports researchers both in the University and the NHS.  Teach workshops on Data Management, Data Handling and supports NHS Grampian R&D governance team in establishing best practice in designing and producing databases that meet the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) strict guidelines.  Works closely with external companies such Kantar World Panel, the Human Fertilisation and Embryology (HFEA) and Information Services Division (ISD) Scotland.  As Grampian’s Safe Haven Data Management and Technical lead, and through her input into the Farr Institute, she has strong links with the Health Informatics Centre (HIC) Dundee.
