Patrícia Norwood holds an honours degree and a master in Economics and a PhD in Health Economics. Patrícia is currently a Research Fellow in HERU and works on projects associated with the Health Behaviour theme.

Research Interests:

Current research interests focus on use of economics in health improvement and the undertaking of microeconometric analysis of interventions to reduce health inequalities, particularly relating to the impact of individual lifestyle choices such as diet and physical activity on health outcomes. Past studies have included looking at the impact of an active travel policy on levels of physical activity as well as economic factors influencing food choices.
