Accuracy considerations in support of single-temperature methods in spontaneous heating testing

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Recent years-since about 1995-have seen the emergence of single-temperature methods for spontaneous heating testing in ovens and there has been extensive discussion of their merits. In this paper it is argued from detailed temperature measurement error analysis that single-point methods have an inherent accuracy advantage over multi-temperature methods. (C) 2004 Elsevier Ltd.
