Abstract

Previous US population accelerometer data indicate that men are more physically active than women in adulthood, but with advancing age, men become more sedentary than women. No systematic studies have focused on this potential crossover by sex in activity pattern with age to determine if they are independent of a priori covariates and con-founders.
