Abstract

Background: Patients with diabetes who undergo renal replacement therapy (RRT) have a higher risk of microvascular complications compared to patients on RRT without diabetes.There is an increasing challenge to provide optimal diabetes care in these patients taking into account the burden that multiple appointments have on them.
