Abstract

Background and objectives:
Improving the environmental sustainability of human diets is clearly desirable but changes to achieve this need to take into account nutritional requirements and recommendations. Recommendatios of some nutrients are harder to meet than others if animal foods are reduced, and it is important to be able to identify these.
